Castor Oil is a vegetable oil extracted by cold-pressing the seeds of the castor bean plant which is native to the Ethiopian region of tropical East Africa. The use of Castor Oil as a natural remedy dates back thousands of years evidenced by the presence of Castor Oil in ancient Egyptian tombs dating back to 4,000 B.C.

Castor Oil is rich in ricinoleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pain-relieving properties.

In ancient Egypt, Castor Oil was used to soothe dry eyes and relieve constipation. In Ayurvedic medicine, Castor Oil has been used to improve arthritis pain and treat skin conditions.

Directions

• Patch test before use.
• Discontinue immediately should irritation occur.
